Delete your data

You can delete your QuickPlayroom account yourself at any time. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Delete it yourself

1. Sign in with your username and password, or any linked provider.
2. Open your account page and scroll to Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and press Delete my account.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also remove QuickPlayroom from Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find QuickPlayroom, and select Remove. Facebook tells us, and we delete the Facebook link straight away. If Facebook was your only way to sign in, we delete the whole account. You will get a confirmation code, and you can check its status on this page.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] and tell us your username, or which provider you signed in with (writing from that account's email address). We'll delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• Your account and display name.
• Your username, password hash and recovery code.
• Every linked sign-in method, including the email address and account ID we received from the provider.
• All your sessions. You are signed out everywhere.
• Your friends list, friend requests and friend code. You disappear from your friends' lists.
• Your name and account ID on game records. The records themselves stay in your opponents' history, with no one named on your side.

Deleted data may stay in backups for a limited time until they are replaced in the normal course of operation. To stop the provider sharing your details with us again, also remove QuickPlayroom from the provider's connected-apps settings.
